The Hikvision 16-Port Gigabit PoE Managed Switch DS-1318P-EI is a PoE network switch from Hikvision. It connects IP cameras, access points and phones with one network cable each that carries both data and power – no separate power supplies. A network switch gives more network ports, so all PCs, printers, IP cameras, access points and recorders work together in one fast network. PoE switches also power the cameras and access points through the network cable – no power adapters on the ceiling. Choose the number of ports for today plus about 20% spare, Gigabit ports for NVRs and fast PCs, and check the PoE budget (W) is more than all cameras together (IP camera ≈ 4–7 W, PTZ / ColorVu more). Unmanaged switches are plug & play; managed switches add VLAN, monitoring and remote control. Our team in Najaf helps you choose and checks that everything fits before delivery.
